YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so thrilled!!  After three weeks of having no washer, my amazing husband fixed it!!  We got the part today, and he was able to assemble it (so we don't have to wait another week for the fix-it guy to come).  I'm going to try really hard to not complain about doing laundry and not take the washer for granted.  I have missed it!  Oh, and I don't think I've ever been so excited to do a load of wash as I was tonight :)

Ok, so maybe this is dumb...

...But I'm SO excited about our table!!  It used to just be a medium stained wood, and it was so worn out!  Scratches everywhere from moving four times and just being beat up by our kids :).  So a few weeks ago I painted it black, and I really liked it.  But, it still just wasn't great.  I got some cute red apples and a red and black place mat, which at least livened it up.  I was wanting a rug way bad, but they're expensive so I just was trying to wait.  WELL, our great friends Mandie and Aaron had a rug they were going to get rid of, and they gave it to us!!  It looks so great under our table!  I'm so excited, and it just looks so cozy now!  Our feet used to freeze in the winter on our tile floors, and now with the rug they'll be nice and toasty.  So THANKS Disbrow's!!  We really appreciate it!  (BTW, I have no idea what those floating green dots are, they're not there in real life :)

And just for good measure, here's a couple of pics from this morning when Maddie was trying SO hard to put on her necklace.

Kangaroo Zoo

Madilyn LOVES the "bouncy house".  We went there yesterday with Mandie and Avery and had a TON of fun!  I only took a few pictures, because my camera was driving me crazy.  After that we went to lunch at Shoots and had a great time!  Well, my kids were a little crazy at lunch, but it was oh well :)

Mandie and I were getting a good laugh watching the girls try and climb this slide.  They were trying SO hard, and it just wasn't working.  They both ended up just sliding down to the side of the stairs instead.

Maddie is terrified of some of the slides.  The one with the big dragon, and then also the one with huge pointy teeth.  I finally got her to go down the Dragon one, and this is what she did the second she hit the bottom of the slide.  She took off as fast as she could!

Here's Maddie bouncing on the turtle.

Here's Max trying to climb in.  He has fun crawling around in this little play area :)

I need your opinions!

Ok, just so there is NO confusion, I'm not pregnant.  But I've been thinking about baby names lately.  We'd like to have one more baby eventually.  Both my kids names start with M, and I LOVE names that alliterate (is that the word?  When first and last names have the same letter.  Mike Murray, Max Murray, Madilyn Murray . . .).  Anyway, I've always really liked the sound of it.

So, my question is, if we named our next baby an "M" name, is that weird?  To have all our kids start with "M"?  There's quite a few names that I like that begin with M (Maisey, Miley, Merv).  Ok, not Merv, but you get the idea.  Would people think we're eccentric or something if all our kids names begin with an "M"?  It's not even that I ever wanted my kids to all have the same letter, but again, I love M names bc our last name is Murray.

Also, what if we named this next one something other than an "M" name, and then they feel left out?!  I mean, Mike, Max, Madilyn and Emily (Emily still sounds like an "M"!).  Ok, I'm totally rambling, but what do you guys think?  I don't want everyone to think we're weird!   I don't think it's weird, but I don't know what others think.  Let me know!

We have the best family and neighbors!

Given that our kids have been quite sick this past week with the stomach flu, we have had a TON of laundry.  And with our broken washer this has been a pain in the neck!  I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has let us do some wash at your houses!   Thank you Jessica, Andrea, Mandie, and Ashley!  We appreciate it so much; it's been a BIG help!

What a week!

* Don't read if you have a weak stomach!

Maddie got sick again on Sunday night, and didn't feel great all day yesterday.  But luckily, she's better today! Yay!  Unfortunately, now it seems like Max has it; but out the other end.  He was sitting on the floor today, and I look over and there is literally a puddle of diarreah forming around him :(.  Not good.  It was pure liquid!  And I still don't have a washing machine!!!! GRRRR!  I feel so bad for him.  I hope he gets feeling better soon!  He's just not himself.

I was able to get some good pictures of the kids though!  I FINALLY got some of Madilyn that I think I can enlarge.  I've needed an 8x10 of her for SO long.  But the little stinker is so hard to take pictures of.  Today she was enjoying it, so I seized the opportunity!  I'm not a big fan of her hair or what she's wearing; but I'll take what I can get!  I'm just glad she was smiling.

* By the way, please ignore what her shirt says in this first picture.  I'm so mad because this is like my FAVORITE picture of her, and she just had to be covering the "s" and the "y".  I still had to put it in though because I LOVE her smile!

Here's what my poor Max has been doing today.  This has become his sick chair.  He'll just sit here and watch his baby Einstein videos.  So NOT like him!  He doesn't really even care about TV usually.   (Notice his finger on Elmo's hand?  Haha!  He does this all the time and I love it.  He uses that pointer finger constantly!  I guess it's his version of holding hands :)

Oh wow, not a good night

So last night we wake up at about three in the morning to Maddie crying and saying she "spilled".  When Mike went in there, she had thrown up EVERYWHERE.  It was so sad; she was so scared and she hasn't ever thrown up before so she didn't know what was happening.  Well, we stuck her in the shower and she was doing okay.  We took her downstairs to watch a show and calm down and she threw up again :(.  She basically threw up like 5 times and was so miserable.

At around 11:00 in the morning, she seemed to be doing ok, so we tried a tiny bit of gatorade and some dry cereal.  Nope, not a good idea.  It came back up once again.  At this point she was SOOO tired from not sleeping good and just being weak.  She kept BEGGING for water; it was so sad!  I imagine she was so thirsty.  Anyway, Mike gave her a blessing, and that helped her calm down right away and she fell asleep for two hours.  We'll see how tonight goes!  I'm hoping the rest of us aren't in for it too.  Yikes.

Oh, and the one thing that REALLY stinks about the situation...our washer broke yesterday afternoon.  It's still under warranty, but they can't get a fix-it guy here for two weeks.  So we basically had nasty sheets, rags, 5 pairs of jammies, and blankets just sitting in our tub.  We tried to rinse them out as best we could; and then we just had to wait till we could take them to Mike's sister's house to use her washing machine.  I swear, Maddie has NEVER had the stomach flu, and she had to get it the DAY our washing machine breaks!  Talk about bad luck!
