Tonight during Family Home Evening we were teaching Madilyn about Abinadi. I had some little cutouts on popsicle sticks that she loved holding. One of them was of Jesus; and that quickly became her favorite one. It was so funny! She kept calling him "Jessie" and saying how she wanted "jessie" and even tonight when we put her to bed she was saying, "Please, hold Jessie?". CUTE! :) I love how she is talking so much more. She cracks me up all of the time with what she says.

Ava came to play!
Madilyn's friend Ava came over to play today and they were so cute together! They get along so well and just love each other. When Jessica and I came upstairs to see what they were doing we found them both sitting in the little car that's in Max's room. Anyway, here are some pictures! We love little Ava. I'm so glad her and Maddie are such good friends!

Crawling, Swimming, and a fun weekend!
This weekend we went up to SLC to go to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It was great! Then after we got home, we decided to go swimming bc it was a HOT day! I swear, I'll be so mad if we go straight into summer. I want SPRING!! Anyway, we had a great time. Here are a couple pictures after we got the kids dressed. I didn't take the camera to the pool, so I don't have swimming pictures; next time!
Madilyn wasn't very happy I was trying to take her picture!
Max is getting good at crawling! He gets better everyday. Right now he'll go a little ways, and then face plant it, and then get back up and try again. It's been fun to see him learn new things, but it's a little bittersweet too. I know I say it all the time, but it's true....my kids are growing up too fast. Now I know why my mom and dad used to always tell me they wanted me to stay little :)

Max is 7 months!
My baby boy turned 7 months old yesterday. It's flying by too quickly! I remember doing a picture montage of Maddie when she was this age, so I wanted to do one for Max too! Here it is if you'd like to take a look :). I love this boy!

Fun weekend!
This weekend Mike and I headed up to Park City to stay at the Westgate Resort at the Canyons. We had done the tour a few months ago so we got a free nights stay and $50 toward dinner at their Westgate Grill. It was so fun! My parents came and stayed the night with our kids so that we could have a night away alone.
We went to see Iron Man on Saturday before we left and I have to say, I was VERY impressed! I didn't think I'd like it at all, but it was actually a really good movie. After that we headed up to Park City and went to dinner. The food was WAY good!! It's the type of place that was like 30 bucks a plate, so the free food voucher we had was very handy :). I had pan-seared Sea Scallops stuffed with jumbo lump crab. Mmm, mm, good! Mike had a huge buffalo steak, and it wasn't very good at all. We didn't know that buffalo just isn't a very good meat, so he learned the hard way.
Anyway, after that we went up to our room and hung out for awhile. We both weren't feeling very good for some reason, but decided to still go to the hot tub and pool. Once we got in the hot tub we started feeling better, thank heaven! Anyway, we had a great time and thanks to my parents for watching our kids! We missed them SO much. It's so weird how I always think it would be so nice to get away with just me and Mike; but then anytime I do I can't stop thinking about my kids and I'm just excited to go home so I can see them. Haha! But we still had a great time!
On Sunday we went up to my parents house and hung out with all my family for Mother's Day. It was way fun and Madilyn loved playing outside with her cousins. We left way to late last night, and by the time we got home we felt like death (it had been an eventful day!) and the kids were exhausted. But after we put them down we still made time to catch the finale of Survivor, of course! Anyway, here are some pictures from yesterday!
Staring in the distance at something. Who knows what . . .
Chasing Gracie! I LOVE running pictures! I think they're so funny :)
Running around with her all-time favorite dog!
Telling Sparky to wave at the camera. Haha :)
Climbing rocks in Grandma's backyard
Spinning around and around in circles
This is one of Madilyn's new favorite things. Walking along a curb and trying to balance. She's pretty good!

~My cute Max~
I just had to post some pictures from this morning. He is such a sweet little baby! He's getting close to crawling now, and then I'll have TWO kids on the loose! Ah! He gets up on his hands a knees and rocks. It's adorable. Anyway, here's the little stud muffin :)

One of my favorite things. . .
One of the best things in the world is seeing my kids play together. It melts my heart! Yesterday, I walked into the living room and saw Maddie sitting next to Max with her blanket on their laps and she was reading a book to him. I about died! It's so cute to see her really interacting with him. She loves to tickle him and talk to him and is such a good big sister.
I'm dreading when they start annoying each other. I know it will happen eventually, and it will be a sad day! In fact, today at Costco I had both of them in the cart sitting next to each other and Maddie loved it at first. But then Max kept touching the back of her neck for some reason and, oh boy, she was not happy about that. She kept telling him, "No Max, you be nice". Haha! Maddie is already getting particular about Max getting into her stuff. But overall she does okay. And I'm loving this stage! Seeing them play together is one of the BEST things about having two kids!
Oh I forgot to mention, Madilyn loves to wear Max's pool hat. So that's the hat that she on :)
His binky fell out so she's helping him get it back in.
Max was really happy this day so I couldn't resist getting a bunch of good smiley pictures!

Happy Anniversary Babe!!
Today is our 4 year Anniversary. It has been a wonderful 4 years! I'm so grateful for my sweet husband. He is such a good man and treats me so good. He is an amazing dad and does so much for our family. I love you Mike!
Here's lots of wedding pictures. I sure wish I could relive this day! It was so fun! Literally the best day of my life. Even though I majorly had pneumonia and was so sick, it was still great!
