Catch Up

Nothing too exciting has been going on, but we have been spending a lot of time up in Centerville with family, and Mike’s mom flew in a few days ago.  My kids are always in heaven when they’re with lots of family :)

Max was REALLY excited to finally get a bat and ball and play outside with dad.

I love seeing Max and Mike play together.  They’re such good buds.  Max adores his dad.  When dad is home, he ignores me a lot and just hangs out around Mike :)

This picture just makes me laugh because it totally looks like he’s warming up.

My little “lefty”.  It’ll be a good thing if he likes baseball :)

My uncle Brent passed away a few weeks ago.  And so a lot of the family was able to travel up to Idaho together.  We had such a good time.  Thank you Grandpa, Mie, and Joe for being such great hosts!  My kids had a ball playing in the country; and Madi found her calling in life.  She now wants to be a farmer.   My mom’s birthday was while we were up there, and so we had a little cake (for breakfast because it was a busy couple days!)

The 4th of July!  How I adore this Holiday.  Always so much fun and the weather was perfect this year!  We headed up to Centerville for the party in the park and fireworks.  Madi had a ball dancing the night away to the music, and thankfully the kids loved the fireworks this year (last year was a different story!)

This is how Max spent the first half of the evening.  He is a little snacker!!  Always looking for something to eat.  Haha

Madi and I made home-made jam yesterday.  She loved helping me make it, and by the time the strawberries were cut up I was just glad there were still some left.  She loved eating them!

Oh and on Sunday we went up to Mike’s grandparents house in SLC for a BBQ.  On the drive home, Madi was really bugged that her feet were dirty.  She kept saying “Mom, I forgot to wash my feet off!”.  So I was just telling her that it was ok and we’d wash them when we got home.  Well, about 10 minutes after that, she tells me, “It’s ok Mom!  I’m washing my feet with my tongue!”.  UGH.  We about died!!  Haha, nasty!
