This picture made me laugh! Mike's dad was helping us with our car, and Madilyn just HAD to be involved. That is exactly how I was when I was little. I always wanted to be a part of fixing stuff with my dad.

It's been a long time...

I'm not very good at keeping up on posts!! Sorry about that!! We've had a lot of fun lately. Mike's parents are visiting from Qatar, and so Maddie has been getting spoiled and having tons of fun with them :). Last weekend we went up to Park City and had a great time. We shopped at the outlets, went to lunch, and then we tried to ride the Gondola at the canyons. Unfortunately we got there too late and it was closing, but we still got to ride one of the lifts. Maddie liked that, and it went pretty fast. It was actually a lot more fun than it looked! Anyway, here are some pictures!!

I just thought this was a cute picture...it was before we left for Park City. She was cracking up!


This is a picture of us at the Canyons. That lift in the background is the one we rode. I recommend it! It's free and fun :)


I think Madilyn looks like such a big girl here. She's growing up too fast! She's with her Grandpa Murray and her uncle Brian.


This is the water bottle I use to do Maddie's hair. She loves to suck on it and get some water out. Funny girl!


I love the back of her hair!! She has got so many curls. She gets a lot of comments on how pretty it looks :). Thank heaven's for her dad's curly hair!! Mine was stick straight! So this is definitely from her dad :)

Camping!

So we went camping with Maddie for the first time this last week up at Bridger Lake. We had a ton of fun!! And we're so glad we were able to go. I got another kidney stone on Thursday, and I was so sad because I didn't think we were going to be able to go camping. Luckily, I got to the hospital and they pumped me full of fluids, and I passed it that day! So I came home, slept off the morphine, and we left the next day.

Madilyn LOVED it! Let's just say, what could make her happier than spending two full days OUTSIDE?! Almost nothing! She went for a ride on the four wheeler, and loved that. Mike and I went out on the fishing boat and both caught fish; it was Mike's first time catching a fish! Very exciting :). The night we spent in the tent was....rough. Madilyn just isn't used to sleeping with us right next to her, and we aren't used to it either! So none of us got very much sleep. But we still had a blast and are so happy we went!









Oh, and here are some recent bathtub pics that I threw in just because they're so cute! The first one is Maddie giving her reflection kisses...haha :)

So, for a few weeks now, I've been looking forward to posting pictures of Madilyn at the 4th of July parade. And now, we don't have any :(. I ended up being admitted into the hospital on Tuesday morning with a kidney stone, and was on Morphine until I passed it on Wednesday. So we didn't get to go to the parade, I was so bummed!! Thankfully Maddie was able to. My parents took her to stay with them overnight, and so she went to the parade with all of her cousins. They said she had a blast and just sat there watching the parade. She was such a good girl! But then, a flying Laffy Taffy hit her in the head and she cried and cried :(. Poor thing! Anyway, I'm sorry I don't have any fun holiday pictures, I wish I did!

We're back!!

Sorry it's been so long since we've posted!! Our computer has been out of commission for a few weeks...but we have some great pictures of Maddie! Things have been good around here lately. Madilyn has been talking more and more, and her favorite thing to say right now is "What's that?" but it comes out more like "Wus tat?". The pregnancy has been going good, and our baby boy is moving lots! Mike has felt him kick once so far. Mike is enjoying his work, and has been VERY busy lately! We go swimming a lot at the pool here, and Maddie loves that. She has a little float tube swimsuit thing that she can just hang out in. She's learning how to kick so she can go somewhere, but mostly she just spins herself around in circles :). Well, here are the pictures, enjoy! We'll probably have to do two posts cause there are a lot!

This is Madilyn and her cousin Gracie in my parents kitchen. They're only a couple months apart in age!


Madilyn LOVES my mom's dog Sparky. The instant we walk in the door she wants to be in complete command of him! Poor dog...he's a good sport though! She just giggles and giggles when she plays with him.


Maddie does this "Ohhhhh" face a lot. She does it when she seems surprised, like "Ohhh, there's a bird...", "Ohhh, there's a big cupcake...". Stuff like that :)

My nephew Kevin had his birthday party yesterday. It was so fun! They had all these blowup water slides, big pools, and water balloons. Maddie had LOTS of fun! She ate SOOO much watermelon. I'm thinking it's one of her favorite things. She'd take a big slice and just gobble it down and want more.




I love how Madilyn looks when she sleeps. Mike snuck in and took this picture and I love it! The bear in the red sweater is her new favorite companion. She likes to take it everywhere and give it kisses. It's funny to see her carry it because it's about as big as her!


I just think this is a pretty picture :).

Ok, so we've finally got our pictures on the computer! These are just kind of random...but way cute :). Oh, but first, we have some NEWS!! We found out on Friday that we're going to have a little BOY!!!! We're so excited! Maddie will LOVE having a little brother. Anyway, here are the pics :)

Sorry we've been MIA!

Sorry we still don't have any pictures! We still need to get our office put together, and find the cord that allows us to upload pics. I just thought I'd post an update so you don't think we've disappeared!

Madilyn is doing great! She gets more fun everyday. We took her to the zoo last weekend and she was calling EVERY animal a "doggy" and barking at them. She loved the rhinos! It seems like everyday she has a new word. Today it's "mow" and I'm still trying to figure out what she's talking about. She's been saying it all day! I think it might be Elmo??? She was singing with me in the car today, and it was so funny. She was just blabbing all kinds of words and singing really high pitched :). At one of the stores we went to today, there was a fountain and so she was leaning over the edge and splashing her hands in the water. She was laughing SOOO hard. Everyone was watching her and giggling...she's so cute!

We find out what baby #2 is today!! I have a friend that is an ultrasound tech, and she offered to just do a fun ultrasound to find out the gender. I'm so excited!! I'm thinking a boy?? We'll see if I'm right. During the next post I'll probably be eating my words and it'll be a girl! Who knows??!! We're just excited to find out!

We've been in our new house for about 3 or 4 weeks now and we're loving it. We had to get the whole house painted before we moved in; which was quite the project! But thanks to our great family, it was done in just one weekend! Madilyn likes it here; I think she just needed a change of pace. Mike and I get to go on a date tomorrow, and I'm so excited! We're going to go to lunch and to see Spider-man 3. We don't get out much nowdays...so I'm hoping it's good :).

Anyway, sorry to blab on about non-sense, but I just thought I'd give and update. Hopefully we'll have new pictures uploaded soon!

Fun Pictures

These are just some random pictures from the last couple weeks. Our family is doing good! We found out that we are going to close on our home during the week of April 16th! It's coming so quick! We're way excited about it. Madilyn has been so funny lately. She says "daddy" ALL the time. When she hears the door unlocking in the evening, she says "daddy daddy daddy" over and over. She gets SO excited when he comes home; and has a meltdown anytime he leaves. I guess he's the fun one :). We also found out a few weeks ago that we're expecting our second child! The baby is due on Halloween...SPOOKY :). Anyway, that's all that's going on with us. We hope you all are doing well!!

Here is Madilyn at the pool in the baby area swing. She LOVES this thing. It was so cute seeing her jump around in it. She got this swimming suit from her Great-Grandma Murray for her b-day. She looks so dang cute in it!

Here is when she was trying to escape from the pool to go run around. Problem is, she's so light that she can't walk on the wet floor. She slips everytime.


This is when Maddie was very bored during dinnertime. I love her chubby cheeks!


This is the ADORABLE dress her Great-Grandma Murray gave her for her b-day. I LOVE it and I had to take a picture of the back too, because I love the criss-cross. I felt so bad though, because I had her wear these really cute pink shoes, and I didn't know they were too small for her. When we got home she had blisters on her heels. I felt awful!!



And these are Maddie's very first pigtails!! It'll be awhile before they actually stay in...after they dried her hair was everywhere. But we're getting there!

Maddie sure is the boss of my mom's dog. It's so funny! She takes him EVERYWHERE with her. If he's not moving she jiggles the leash to try and get him going. As soon as she lets go of the leash, Sparky grabs his own leash in his mouth and tries to run away and hide from her! But, since they're about the same size, Maddie can go pretty much everywhere he can; so he's out of luck!
