Family Vacation

We went up to Teton Idaho for my family’s reunion.  It was SO MUCH FUN.  Seriously, one of my favorite trips in a long time.  The house we stayed at was gorgeous with tons of space. We hiked, went to Bar J, did 1000 piece puzzles, and just played and relaxed.  The kids had a great time with their cousins, and we had lots of fun playing cards and laughing with my brothers and sisters.

I love this picture of Max.  This is how he spent most of his time.  He liked watching me and Madi follow them.

I walked out in the garage to find Max like this.  He did it himself.  After this trip, he’s become pretty obsessed with four wheelers and football.

Madi with sweet baby Lily.  Lily is seriously the smiley-est baby you’ve ever seen.  Ever.  In the history of babies.  I couldn’t get enough of her!

This is the view from the road in front of the house.  So pretty and peaceful.  Ahhhh.

Even the walkway to the house was gorgeous!!  The kids liked riding their bikes a hundred miles an hour along this path.

Max could have played football all day long.  He probably ran a mile while we were out there!!  He never stopped running.  I love this picture of him and Dane.  So in sync!

Catch Up

Nothing too exciting has been going on, but we have been spending a lot of time up in Centerville with family, and Mike’s mom flew in a few days ago.  My kids are always in heaven when they’re with lots of family :)

Max was REALLY excited to finally get a bat and ball and play outside with dad.

I love seeing Max and Mike play together.  They’re such good buds.  Max adores his dad.  When dad is home, he ignores me a lot and just hangs out around Mike :)

This picture just makes me laugh because it totally looks like he’s warming up.

My little “lefty”.  It’ll be a good thing if he likes baseball :)

My uncle Brent passed away a few weeks ago.  And so a lot of the family was able to travel up to Idaho together.  We had such a good time.  Thank you Grandpa, Mie, and Joe for being such great hosts!  My kids had a ball playing in the country; and Madi found her calling in life.  She now wants to be a farmer.   My mom’s birthday was while we were up there, and so we had a little cake (for breakfast because it was a busy couple days!)

The 4th of July!  How I adore this Holiday.  Always so much fun and the weather was perfect this year!  We headed up to Centerville for the party in the park and fireworks.  Madi had a ball dancing the night away to the music, and thankfully the kids loved the fireworks this year (last year was a different story!)

Madi and I made home-made jam yesterday.  She loved helping me make it, and by the time the strawberries were cut up I was just glad there were still some left.  She loved eating them!

IMG_3718

Oh and on Sunday we went up to Mike’s grandparents house in SLC for a BBQ.  On the drive home, Madi was really bugged that her feet were dirty.  She kept saying “Mom, I forgot to wash my feet off!”.  So I was just telling her that it was ok and we’d wash them when we got home.  Well, about 10 minutes after that, she tells me, “It’s ok Mom!  I’m washing my feet with my tongue!”.  UGH.  We about died!!  Haha, nasty!
